OCS: Management Team

Oliver E. Cole, President

Mr. Cole has over thirty years of extensive, hands-on experience in developing, testing and performance tuning large-scale mission-critical software for a variety of organizations, including commercial and international interests. Before founding OC Systems, he worked on a number of high reliability real-time systems for the U.S. military and is actively involved in the Eclipse open source community. He has also been appointed to the Eclipse Architecture Council, which is responsible for the long-term technical health of the Eclipse platforms and frameworks. He speaks regularly at industry conferences and has had a number of articles published in industry publications. Cole earned a Bachelor of Applied Science and Engineering from the University of Toronto.

Thomas Fleck, Executive Vice President

Mr. Fleck oversees and contributes to the delivery of OC Systems products and services. Fleck has over 30 years of experience in system software development, project management and company management. Since joining OC Systems as its third employee in 1985, he has managed the development of and contributed technically to virtually all of the company's software development projects, including Ada code generators, Ada development tools, Aprobe and RootCause. Prior to joining OC Systems, Fleck was a developer and team leader at SofTech, Inc. Fleck received joint B.S. degrees in Computer Science and Math from Pennsylvania State University, where he graduated Phi Beta Kappa, summa cum laude.

Ivan Cvar, Director of Software Operations

Mr. Cvar has primary responsibility for customer support and ongoing product maintenance of all OC Systems' products. Cvar is also PowerAda product manager and technical lead for the Ada compiler products. He has nearly two decades of Ada compiler development experience. Before joining OC Systems in 1994, he worked as a consultant doing design, implementation, and unit testing for real-time software systems. Cvar holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering degree with Distinction from Carleton University.
